From a suggestion to reality, Gen-Wire.com was created after an in depth conversation about Management, Generation Y and Baby Boomer bosses. At the Women’s Leadership Exchange conference in Schaumburg, IL, the room was shared with a few Generation Y professionals and a lot of Baby Boomer women business owners and executives. The lack of understanding between the two groups prompted the Keynote speaker, Carolyn Kepcher (known as the former Judge on Donald Trump's Apprentice and currently an Internet Entrepreneur) to suggest that I start a blog about Generation Y. Her interest in my perspective made me think…Is there a voice or advice for my generation with a focus on professional development? Well, here is the answer. I hope that I can do the job!
